Play any lately? I just love rougelike games they always have so much humor in them. My favorite rougelike game is Elona. Very humorous game in and out.

The rogue-likes I have played so far are Zangband, Nethack, Elona, and Dwarf Fortress and have barely survived five minutes in each of them well except Nethack managed to get lvl. 14 so far.

"A Roguelike is usually described as a free turn-based computer game with a strong focus on intricate gameplay and replayability, and an abstract world representation using ASCII-based display, as opposed to 3D graphics. Of course, as with any genre, there are deviations from the norm.
Roguelikes allow the player an indefinite amount of time in which to make a move, making gameplay comparable more to chess than to reflex-based games like first-person shooters. yeah lol :p I've tried the nes a couple years ago. Either way I have to agree best series ever!! 3 probably my favorite then id 7 5 6 4 9 8 1 2 cant wait for 10 on the wii! I like the spin offs too.
